	Software Development Programmers (ref:AK)
Job Title : Software Development Programmers Employer : Total Control Systems (UK) Ltd Location : Hartlebury, Worcestershire Salary up to £25,000 Job Type : Permanent Closing Date : EXTENDED Job Role & Description: Development of detailed system design specifications for system/program development Coding, testing, debugging, documenting more complex programs, & enhancing existing programs to ensure that the software continues to meet user needs Provision of testing procedures for all completed developments Identification of and resolution of system operating problems in order to provide continuous business operations Assisting with support issues to ensure a timely resolution to client issues. Provision of guidance and training to less-experienced programmers in order to improve productivity Installation of the software at client sites, which may be abroad and provision of consultancy to those clients Assisting clients with technical and operational issues. Database mapping Essential Skills Requirements: A Computer Science/ I.T. degree (2.1 or over). Preferably Master’s Degree level At least 1 - 2 years experience in a true multi-user software development environment and ERP Systems Expertise with programming languages or a good knowledge of Object Pal within Paradox Good understanding of SQL and Oracle databases Knowledge of Delphi and Radio Data Terminal devices Demonstrate an understanding of Structured programming / Object Oriented system architectures.  Desirable Skills: In addition, the following skills are advantageous: Knowledge of any Traceability Management Software Good Communication and Interpersonal skills NO AGENCIES.
