Trading and Sales

Different companies have different requirements for trading and sales screens, so Wizdom has a number of different ways of entering sales information.

The different methods all write to the main Wizdom database, so different users can each use their preferred method. Orders can even be entered using one method and amended using a different method.

Conventional Order Entry

Orders for one or more customer available on a ‘quick list’ for the salesman, easy to get to orders for telephone enquiries
Order entry by ‘spreadsheet’ of stock or conventional ‘list’. Can see all stock on hand for substitution sales
Real-time stock position, no overselling
Allocate to stock at order time if required, make sure the customer gets exactly his requirements
View stock in multiple Warehouses, check availability to avoid disappointing the customer
Customer preferences for despatch warehouse (eg first choice for customers in Germany would be the German warehouse), minimise transportation costs

Wizdom Trading Screens
28 day future sale plan, can prepare for future purchases
‘Offers’ can be made to reserve stock, prevents someone selling held stock
Stock reservations (bulk orders) can be made at any level (eg a reservation can be made for ‘Apples’ when the sku is Apples, Granny Smith)
Reservations can be converted to orders, all on the same screens, prevents stock being reserved and not ever sold
Reservations can also be transmitted to a warehouse and ‘called off’ by the warehouse staff as the customer requests, or transportation requires

Fast Order Entry
Shows products in stock as a ‘spreadsheet’, easy to tell the customer what is available
Real-time stock position, avoid overselling in a fast moving sales organisation
Orders created by clicking on stock, fast and easy
Orders can be taken for goods not in stock to show requirements

Sales Order Processing Screens
EDI programmed orders arrive, automatically uploaded, no human intervention
‘Point and Click’ to convert customer programmed orders into a production plan for up to 14 days
Production plans link directly to Wizdom prepack module to generate Works Orders for product packing
Production plans link to customer actual orders
Shows performance to plan, order, programme etc
